I just Claude code to a new version (1.0.72 (Claude Code)) for a new feature they just announced:

I can see how this can be useful. it can automatically go through the console error messages being thrown and propose a fix without me copy/pasting error messages between external console and claude code shell like a caveman.

One other i can think of this being useful is to monitor running logs and trigger a notification via slack suggesting a fix for an issue or maybe even just apply the fix right away

That Slack notification + auto-fix idea is solid. Can Claude Code also run multi-step scripts in the background?

Just updated to the new Claude Code version 1.0.72 with that cool new feature running background bash commands right inside Claude Code! 🙌

I tried spinning up a dev server inside the shell, and wow, this could be a huge productivity booster. No more copying error messages back and forth like a caveman! Claude can watch the console, catch errors as they happen, and suggest fixes automatically.

I’m also thinking about hooking it up to monitor logs continuously and maybe even send Slack alerts with troubleshooting tips or better yet, apply the fix on the spot.

Still exploring all the possibilities here, but this feature feels like it could seriously level up how we debug and maintain projects. Will update this post once I find more cool use cases!
